For several years I worked on the design of audio equipment for very high fidelity use, primarily for Electrocompaniet. As I no longer work actively in that field, I decided to put as much of what I know onto this site, and let everyone have a look.  This site contains information on the audio technology I represent, on  the history of the early Electrocompaniet, and their world famous 25W "Otala" amplifier, which I worked on.  The history of Electrocompaniet   is endorsed by  Electrocompaniet.  

   Schematics are currently no longer on site.  Hopefully back again within a few years. 

I have also made a section on troubleshooting your Electrocompaniet 25W amp. Parts of the info is from the original service manual.

My thesis on the University was also related to audio technology, and I also presented some papers on amplifier technology through the AES.  Stuff from all this is also provided.

I get a lot of emails with questions on the Otala amplifiers of EC, and I'll put up the Q&A on these on a FAQ one of these days. Feel free to send me emails with questions.
